I had the opportunity to participate in the development of the Conexión Laboral website for the Mayagüez and Las Marías region, a project supported by the Government of Puerto Rico within the economic development and employment opportunities program.
Conexión Laboral is an initiative aimed at facilitating access to job opportunities for the population of Puerto Rico by connecting citizens with companies, training programs, and support resources. The challenge was to create a functional, clear, and organized website that reflected the scale and importance of this program in the lives of thousands of people.
My Participation
Full Website Design I structured the website to be visually appealing, modern, and accessible to the entire community. The navigation was designed to be intuitive, prioritizing quick access to programs, documents, and official resources.
Graphic Design: I developed graphic elements consistent with the program’s identity, reinforcing the institutional image and creating a friendly yet professional visual experience.
Video Editing for the Web: I integrated audiovisual material that dynamically communicates the objectives and achievements of Conexión Laboral, humanizing the platform and showcasing its real impact on communities.
Document Archiving: One of the biggest challenges was classify and organize over 1,000 official documents, distributed across sections and categories, ensuring the information was clear, organized, and easily accessible to both users and system administrators.
Digital Communication Support: I ensured that the website's narrative resonated with the target audience, conveying the message of support, development, and opportunities offered by the platform.
